ASP Neither did similar kb articles (slight variations on the error messages). The fix was to reverse a (very) recent tweakui modification. I suspect this solution (if it were to work) is dangerous as far as OE updates are concerned. I also examined the win98SE install and it gave no clue as to why it worked
